E2 Services, Inc. was founded in 2000 and has grown organically from a small startup company to one of the area’s leading Managed IT Service Providers.
E2 Services was started by Sheryl and Scott Eakin, bringing a combined 30 years of technical expertise to the firm. Their backgrounds range from application programming to network infrastructure design and IT management. Both individuals possess a high level of technical expertise and an exemplary work ethic which resonates throughout the organization. In April of 2000 they started E2 Services, Inc.
In the early days, Sheryl and Scott set out to strategically partner with leading technology vendors whose products proved best-of-breed throughout their careers. The idea was to partner with these providers to produce the best possible outcome for the customer. Some of the early partnerships were with Microsoft, Cisco, HP, and SonicWALL. E2 continues these relationships to this day.
In 2002, E2 expanded their offering to include email and web hosting services out of their office. By 2004, E2’s growth precipitated a move to a Level 3 Datacenter providing the redundancy and security that their office could not provide.
E2 Services relocated to a building just over the border of south Naperville into Oswego in 2006. E2 Services continued to grow. In 2008, managing the growth was becoming challenging, so processes started to be documented and a company reference book of those processes was created to establish consistency in the way E2 did things. The staff continues today to add documentation so there is standardization in the work that is delivered to all of our customers.
In January 2011, E2 Services opened its first satellite sales office in downtown Naperville in the Main Street Promenade.
The original vision of providing companies with solutions that they needed was the basis for not only an ethical business, but a profitable one as well. E2 Services is a thriving business and has been since the beginning based on these fundamental principles. 12 years later, building a company based on honesty and customer service has succeeded beyond Sheryl and Scott’s wildest imaginations. In a struggling economy, E2 continues to succeed.
